We’re seeking a Freelance Residential Architectural Project Specialist to join our team. If you thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment and are eager to take on new challenges, we’d love to hear from you. This position is remote only, if local and available a plus.

What You’ll Do

·         Contribute across all project phases: Concept → SD → DD → CDs → CA

·         Generate thoughtful design solutions within the functional parameters of a project

·         Translate concepts and information into drawings, diagrams, and details

·         Develop construction documents including building sections, wall sections, roof eaves, and custom millwork details

·         Balance design excellence with constructability, budget, and schedule

·         Manage your time effectively to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment

·         Collaborate with consultants and contractors for smooth project delivery

·         Assist with contract administration tasks

·         Demonstrate creative problem-solving and innovative design thinking

What We’re Looking For

·         Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture (NAAB accredited)

·         5+ years of professional experience with strong residential design and detailing skills

·         Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is required (other 3D software a plus)

·         Strong organizational, design, and communication skills

·         Ability to collaborate effectively in a diverse project team

·         Strengths in conceptual design, technical detailing, and problem-solving

·         Excellent attention to detail and analytical mindset

·         Disciplined time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks

·         Flexible, adaptable, and motivated to grow professionally

Compensation
This remote freelance position pays competitive hourly rates. The rate will reflect the skillset and may vary based on experience, education, and expertise.
